Hi, I am a Fartbølle.
You may be wondering what is a Fartbølle? It is a Danish word that roughly translates to "speed devil." I was given these nickname by a Danish friend when I decided to purchase my first BMW, Heidi. The title kinda fits my interests so I decided to own it for this blog.
My main reason for creating this blog is to keep track of the amazing adventures that I have traveling the world. I hope that some of my writings will inspire some to go on their own adventures but really I would be happy if I could just share some useful information that could prevent people from making the same mistakes that I did.
Now to introduce a few key players in these aforementioned adventures.
Rachel being picked up for the first time
Introducing Rachel
This is my 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King 110th Anniversary Edition. I bought her brand new in April of 2013. I really enjoy riding and wanted to start taking longer trips so I needed to get more of a touring bike. This bike is a classy American lady and I wanted a name that conveyed that.
Bertha just being big in Redmond
Introducing Bertha
This is my 2012 Ford Raptor Roush Off Road Edition. I bought this truck new in September of 2012. She is the only 2012 Roush Raptor in the state of Washington and has a mere 525 bhp and 535 ft-lbs of torque. This truck is a big brute and I think the name fits well.
Hotaru enjoying the sun in Seattle
Introducing Hotaru
This is my 2009 Honda CBR-600RR. I bought her used in March of 2012. She was my first motorcycle and will always be special because of that. She has the limited edition Phoenix graphics treatment which is sort of symbolic for what was happening in my life when I started to ride. She is quick and nimble and I wanted a name to reflect that (Hotaru is Japanese for Firefly).
