First Motorcycle Commute of 2013

It is starting to be that time of the year here in Seattle.  We get a few amazing days of sun and then a few depressing days of rain.  My schedule and the weather finally permitted me to ride my bike into work.  There was traffic on 520 all the way to work which gave me the opportunity of having a personal first of being stopped on 520 on a bike.  It was a beautiful morning and I wish I could have captured a picture of Rainier in the distance.

Now for the ride home.  I couldn't just let the daylight and nice weather go to waste so I decided to leave work early (6 PM is early for us 'softies) and take the long way home.  I ended up going looping 202 to Woodinville and back.  Then I went down by the lake through Kirkland and up through Juanita eventually ending up on Lake City Way and road that back to the city.  While in downtown Kirkland, an all black Lamborghini Aventador drove past.  That is quite the beautiful machine and one day I hope to add an Isabella to my garage.  There were quite a few like minded individuals on the roads yesterday.  While riding through the more rural areas yesterday with their unique smells, I couldn't help but think that spring has arrived.
